Julia, Super Spy daughter chpt. 2

The next day we set off. Almost there! I fell like its the beggining of the end, but yet its still the beggining. Since we had to leave our dog, bubbles, mom promised me a pet chinchilla. So I am looking forward to that. I hope this will be one of mom's missions were we can quickly leave because the mission is so easy. Sadly mom said that this isn't one of those times. I closed my eyes and thought about everything i missed and fell asleep. Mom woke me up around twelve for lunch. I wasn't hungry so she bought me a doughnut for later, and I fell asleep again. We got there around four and it was a beautiful building! Red bricks, Darkened glass windows, and at least ten-stories high.

"My Gosh!" I exclaimed in my high pitched voice, "Its Beautiful."
" I knew you would like it!" My mom said pulling into the parking Garage.
Then when we got in it was even more beautiful! I love it! I cant wait to see whats in store for tommorow!

Julia, Super Spy daughter chpt. 1

The day I moved was the saddest day of my life. I had to say good bye to all my friends and teachers, and most importantly my dog, bubbles. For as long as I remember it has just been me and my mom. She is a top secret agent so we travel alot on her missions. We recently got tranfered to New york, NY. Since we will be living in an appartment my dog is not allowed. It is very tragic. Before the move every thing was great. Eat, go to school, hang out with Samantha,my best friend, go home and do it all over again. I Have only been gone from our small home in Iowa for three days now, but it feels like torture each time we pass through a new city and see girls walking together laughing, and not missing each other. We are supposed to get there in about one more but I cant even think about not being able to call Sam for even three days after that as our phone gets turned on. I wish I had a cell phone. It would make every thing better. Alas, I dont. "Not until your thirteen", my mother always says. I just turned twelve so hopfully it will happen soon. (Or in a year.) :( Oh well. I will just have to wait. Finally we reached the hotel and stopped for the night. Then we are off again. Into the dark pit of depair. (The car.) Tommorow we leave. Oh, tommorow!
